Matthew 26:41 Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Father, we need to take the advice of your son Jesus Christ not to enter into temptation, so we ask and beg you to help us to be able to watch and pray so as not to enter into temptation.
Help us because the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. But we will glorify ourselves in our weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest in us.
We ask you for a spirit of prayer, and for being attentive to your word, watching to put it into action, and being diligent in watching and praying.
Blessed Father, thank you for listening to us and being attentive to our prayers.
